Lungau and Hotel Binggl are an ideal starting point if you want to feel the wind in your hair sitting in a convertible. The scenery in the Salzburger Land is so changeable and fascinates you anew time and time again with every kilometre you drive. The winding roads up the mountains especially are a reason for a car tour for many of our guests.

By car through two national parks: Head off from Mauterndorf after an energising breakfast towards Ebene Reichenau in neighbouring Carinthia. This takes you through the Nockberge national park. You arrive at your destination after a good hour's drive.

The Hohe Tauern National Park, Großglockner High-Alpine Road and Nockalmstraße

A wonderful trip out in the Salzburger Land is the drive through the Hohe Tauern national park towards Bruck. From there you also then have the option of driving by car up the famous Großglockner High-Alpine Road. 36 hairpin bends wind up the 48 kilometres. Driving fun and unique views are guaranteed. As they are on the Nockalmstraße. A 130 km circular tour leads you directly from Hotel Binggl towards the Nockberge national park and back again.
