This hotelier family from the province of Salzburg gives its best to combine traditional values and innovative new ideas in order to provide you with an authentic and perfect holiday experience. History of the Binggl Hotels in Obertauern
The 4-star Hotel Binggl stands on historic ground. The Binggl family has been baking bread in the same place – the location of the former 'Mayr-Bräu' brewery – since 1900. Your host Richard Binggl carries on the tradition of his father, grandfather and great grandfather as master baker. Every day he works with great enthusiasm at the hotel's own bakery, the products of which you may enjoy every day at the breakfast buffet at Hotel Binggl, before starting on a new and exciting day of holiday activities. The brewery building was demolished in 1966 and a new bakery and pastry shop built in its place. In 2004 the holiday Hotel Binggl was added to the building.
